Eurotherm 583 Drives Inverter circa 1992 – 1999. The 583 Series Frequency Inverter is designed for speed control of standard 3-phase induction motors. It is available in a range of frame sizes covering motor power ratings from
0.75kW (1hp) to 280kW (450hp) for constant torque applications, and 1.1kW (1.5hp) to 315kW (500hp) for quadratic torque applications. Available on all 584SV models, this dual mode feature (constant or quadratic torque) provides a cost effective solution to general industrial applications, as well as the control of pumps and fans.
